As the saying goes, many hands make light work, and here at Sunnyvale Community Players, we are blessed to have such wonderful volunteers!
Volunteer for Staff or Crew
SCP has been able to serve the community for over 50 years thanks to the amazing support of countless people willing to contribute their efforts behind the scenes. There are many ways you can be part of the SCP family. Here are some examples of areas into which you’d be welcome with open arms!
Volunteer jobs are available in the following departments:
- Ushering
- Box Office
- Mailings
- Proofreading
- General Office Work
- Helping with Auditions
- Working Backstage
- Carpentry
- Painting
- Sewing
Become a Member at Large
Any supporter who donates a minimum of $25 a year or contributes a minimum of 20 volunteer hours a year with SCP is invited to become a Member at Large. Members are able to vote in SCP Board officer elections and provide input into our play selection process. If you are interested in becoming a Member at Large, all you have to do is email us at info@sunnyvaleplayers.org to let us know you’re interested and our Membership Chairperson will follow up with you.
